GENERAL SERVICE/PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

We Come To You!

The personable service team will perform golf car service at your home.  A Preventative Maintenance Checkup is recommended every six months.  It takes only about 30-45 minutes and is reasonably priced.  You will receive a courtesy reminder card when your service is due.

Ask our technicians about the 8-volt battery (which is almost identical in size, scarcely heavier, and can occupy the same installed space as a 6-volt.)

General Service / Preventative Maintenance Checkup Includes the Following:

• Adjust Brakes and Brake Pedal
• Lubricate/Grease all grease fittings (if applicable)
• Check accelerator linkage
• Check Differential oil and add if necessary
• Check front wheel bearings and pack with grease
• Check underside of car and battery trays for corrosion.  Advise customer on condition and any recommendations
• Check front end alignment and wear on tires
• Check tire pressure in all tires (24-28 psi)
• Check headlights, taillights & brake lights
• Check all wheel lugs for tightness
• Check battery for proper "fill" level and advise customer if too high or low
• Check all battery terminals for tight and secure connections.  Replace corroded terminals or cables, spray with protective coating (if necessary)
• Check motor terminals, replace corroded terminals or cables
• Check windshield, enclosure and seat covers (if applicable) and advise of SGC's line of accessories
• Service directional switch
• Check out charger thoroughly

**This service is performed at your home and takes approximately 30-45 minutes.  It is recommended every six months.  You will receive a reminder card when your service is due.
